About Sierra Connect Media
Sierra Connect Media photographs residential architecture and luxury listings across Northern Nevada: interiors, exteriors, twilight, aerial, and dimensioned floor plans, delivered MLS-ready.
The work is done by Matthew Lewis. Sierra Connect L.L.C. was founded by his father in 2017 as a family-owned technology services firm, and in 2024 Lewis launched Sierra Connect Media as its photography division while completing an undergraduate degree in Business Management at the University of Nevada, Reno. He built it on the same operating discipline as the company he grew up around: scoped up front, scheduled against a date, delivered on a stated timeline.
The photography came first. Lewis works in landscape well outside the commercial practice, competes with that work in Nevada art exhibitions, and sells prints of it. Landscape is where the habits come from: waiting on light rather than working around it, and reading a scene for the one position that resolves it. Applied to a house, that is the difference between covering a room and photographing it.
Sierra Connect Media is small on purpose. The person who scopes the shoot is the person who arrives, flies the drone, edits the files, and answers the phone when a revision is needed on a deadline. Nothing is subcontracted and nothing is handed off.
Each engagement begins before the shoot. Property, light, and sequence are planned against the listing date, arrival is timed to the exposure the room actually needs, and staging is corrected on set rather than in post. Interiors are captured with balanced ambient and window exposure so that glass reads as view instead of glare. Twilight work is scheduled to the narrow window after sunset when interior light and sky hold equal weight. Files are edited to a consistent profile across a property so a gallery reads as one place rather than a set of unrelated frames.
Aerial photography and videography are flown under an FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate, which covers the controlled airspace that surrounds much of the Reno-Tahoe corridor. Floor plans are produced with a dimensioned three-dimensional treatment and can be delivered as standalone assets or integrated into a virtual tour.
Work is scheduled throughout the Sierra front and the Carson Valley:
- ▫ Reno
- ▫ Carson City
- ▫ Minden
- ▫ Gardnerville
- ▫ Lake Tahoe, Nevada and California
